Clubs and Groups
Find out more about the clubs and groups at HERIB.
The Beech Holme Tandem Club is based at HERIB, Beverley Road, Hull and was formed in about 1952 by a group of cyclists from the Cyclists Touring Club so that blind back riders could enjoy the pleasures of cycling through the countryside with sighted front riders.
The club has an excellent “fleet” of modern, well maintained tandems donated by private individuals and/or funded by local organisations.
In recent months the club has ridden to Old Ellerby, Brantingham, Little Weighton, South Cave, Skidby, Lelley.
Anybody who is ready, willing and able to help either as a rider, or to provide support and back up would be most welcome and should contact HERIB on 01482 342297.
